The 1st AI chatbot in the Greek insurance market

Since late 2019, Groupama deployed a Virtual Assistant based on Artificial Intelligence, to support Customer Service Experience.

Indicative capabilities of Groupama’s Virtual Assistant include:


  • Live quotation: Integration with backoffice systems allowing the Virtual Assistant to offer quotation for Auto and Health insurance, following a dialogue with the user to capture significant information, such as age of the driver, value of insurance, etc.
  • Campaign Management: Capability to create campaigns and provide offers to online visitors
  • Multi-language support: Support of Greek and English
  • Login: Ability to authenticate users allowing them to overview their insurance plans and ask related questions


The Virtual Assistant has replied to over 220.000 questions so far.
